World Of Warcraft Shaman

There is one class of character in the World of Warcraft which is always considered a middle one and that is the Shaman. It means it is not one of the most preferred class type but at the same time, a group can’t live without a Shaman.

Shamans is a know-it-all class in the World of Warcraft. They act as the essential reserves of a group. They are the reinforcements. They are the support-healers, tankers and damagers. They provide extra slots to support the army in general.

Only a number of races are able to choose Shaman as their class. They are the Orcs, Taurens, Trolls and Draenei. Because of this reason why there is only a small number of Shamans in the World of Warcraft making them more special.

Being a hybrid, a character who can fill up any primary character for a period of time, a Shaman will prove to be beneficial if you specialize in your healing abilities since it is the usual reason why Shamans are being called upon by the group. Next is learning how to use Totems, their spells and how to use them on fights.

I’ve listed the different types of totems to give you an idea of which of them is the most useful to equip for specific situations:

1. Strength of Earth – gives major strength boosts to friend within 30 yard radius
2. Stoneskin – reduces melee damage to friends within 30 yard radius
3. Stoneclaw – it’s similar to a decoy, enemies will attack it instead of your group so you will have ample time to escape when needed
4. Earthbind – slows enemy speed within 30 yard radius
5. Searing Totem – throws ranged fireballs within 30 yards
6. Fire Nova – bombs which explode after 5 seconds of being laid
7. Magma – burns enemies within 8 yard radius
8. Flametounge – increases fire damage
9. Frost Resistance – increases frost resistance of friends within 20 yard radius
10. Healing Stream – heals all friends within 30 yards over a period of time
11. Mana Spring – restores mana of all friends within 30 yards over a period of time
12. Poison cleansing –cures poison effect on friends within 20 yards
13. Fire Resistance – increases resistance to fire

16. Grounding Totem – absorbs harmful spells to friends
17. Nature resistance – increases resistance to nature-based attacks such as poison and lightning
18. Windwall – creates a wall of air that absorbs damage from ranged attacks

Shamans are not the fighting type of character so to choose a profession, the most suited are those who is in harvesting. They are Herbalism and Enchanting.

To level up your Shaman character, you need to complete specific quests per level. Below is the quick list of the quests and the locations where you can pick them:
1. Level 1-10 Call of Earth - Camp Narache in Mulgore for Tauren; Valley of Trials in Durotar for orcs/trolls
